Surf together VIC
Our Purpose is to engage, inform, and support men… we exist to engage all men, including those suffering from mental health illnesses.
To inform everyone on mental health issues facing Australian men and encourage men through social friendships and provide access to mental health services if required.
We strongly believe the activity of surfing and a connection to the ocean can have positive mental health outcomes, we want to shred waves with mates making sure we’re all supported.

Melbourne’s population is just under 4.5 million, 49% (!?) are blokes, Men & Boys, mostly trying to make a “better” world for themselves AND others.
Here is a group of roughly a dozen men who meet up on a voluntary level to glean from a passionate professional… including a passionate “sister” of a brother who died from suicide.
This is inspiring and encouraging… check it out for yourself OR for someone you know!
See here: Facebook/Build-A-Brotherhood.
Peta Kerryn statement:
I lost my brother to suicide which made me realize the lack of support for men’s mental health. We are trying to build a brotherhood to help put an end to men suffering in silence. Men who do not know one another coming together to build a brotherhood. Hosted by myself and a trained family therapist/drug and alcohol counsellor wanting to put a stop to men suffering in silence…
